Stop paying too much for gas

Why is it that people insist on paying top dollar for regular unleaded gasoline? I can not even count how many times I have been filling up at the cheapest local “no name” FULL SERVE gas station only to look across the street to see twice as many people filling up their own tanks with gas that costs them .15 per gallon more only to do it themselves. Do people think that “brand name” gas is better than any other gas station? Do they enjoy throwing their money away? Maybe they like grabbing that dirty gas covered trigger and doing it themselves? I can not seem to wrap my head around this. For those of you who do not know… gas is gas. Now a days cars are made to run on low octane crappy gasoline, in some cases higher octanes cause economical automobiles to actually run worse. So next time you need to fill up just stop and think for a second then ask yourself, what am I paying extra for?

When you are out on your Sunday drive this week do us all a favor and find the cheapest gas station near you. We all need to do our part and seek out the cheapest places to get gas now more than ever and reward these stations with our business. Competition is what makes America great and it is also what drives the cost of goods down in this country. Check out GasBuddy and search for or report on the best place to fill up in your area. With gas prices as high as they are today why spend more when you don’t have to?

You obviously don’t live in the city where it’s much MORE expensive to have some crackhead pump your gas at the “no name” FULL SERVE station. Get out of your car you lazy piece of crap…and of all people, I would think YOU would have some sort antibacterial wipe in your car.

The point I am trying to make is that gas prices of two different stations within 100 yards of each other can have a difference in price of .15 or more in some cases (whether you are in the city or not). The other point I was trying to make is that sometimes full serve can be cheaper than “top name” self serve stations. I’m going back to sitting on my lazy ass now with my bottle of alcohol hand sanitizer.

I think we should all know the reason these gas prices are so high is because these “top name gas companies have enough clout to drive these prices up. A pissant “no name gas company has about as much say in gas prices as I do. So if we all do make an effort to go to the “no name gas stations, then these “top name gas stations will have no choice but to lower gas prices.

I here your point Chuck. Just go to the cheapest gas station and eventually the more expensive ones will have to drop their prices also. It’s called competition and it is what makes this economy great. The big companies will just keep charging more if we let them, if we stop going there they will have to lower prices.
